PPPT S.A. begins realization of the new investment projects co-financed from EU funds with a CAPEX of over 65 million EURO.
Stefan Kotlewski, the Vice-marshal of the Mazovia Province, Robert Makówka and Adam Trojanowski, members of the management board of PPPT S.A., signed agreements on two PPPT projects co-financed from EU funds under the Regional Operational Program of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship. The projects refers to the development of technology, science and R&D activity of the Park. Under the documents signed today PPPT S.A. formally launches the preparatory stage of this investment.
The Płock Industrial and Technological Park development projects are on the list of 26 priority undertakings in the Mazovia Province, the biggest administrative territory in Poland. Estimated costs of two PPPT projects amount to over 65 million EURO, of which EU financial support amounts to over 22 million EURO (40% of eligible costs). Scale of the planned projects is unique across the country and will become an important factor for the development of the competitiveness of Mazovia and Płock region.
The result of the realization of the whole undertaking will be the implementation of innovative organizational and technological solutions based on the organization within the Park a network of institutions providing full scale of products and services allowing via outsourcing processes to reduce costs of running business activity, especially in such peripheral areas for core activity like integrated book-keeping and accountancy services, integrated storage and archive services, integrated services of logistics and economical and technological assistance, as well as the start-up of the R&D background.
First Project includes, inter alia, the construction and equipping of the Corporate Service Center, a complex offering a technical and organizational infrastructure with use of business processes like offshoring and outsourcing. Project covers also the construction and equipping of the complex of buildings in order to create central area of IT infrastructure, along with facilities to conduct innovative IT projects and programs. At the same time, they will satisfy the needs of the future and current PPPT investors. Estimated total costs of the project amount to ca 45 million EURO, of which EU financial support amounts to almost 15 million EURO (40% of eligible costs).
Second Project includes, inter alia, construction of laboratory, R&D and technical infrastructure, in co-operation with Warsaw University of Technology – School of Technical and Social Science in Płock. Estimated total costs of the project amount to ca 20 million EURO, of which EU financial support amounts to almost 7 million EURO (40% of eligible costs).
Operation in the vicinity of industrial enterprises, businesses and institutions aimed at the development of modern technology and R&D centers will contribute to a greater efficiency and competitiveness of the market.
