EU projects 2007 - 2013

In 2006 the management board of PPPT S.A. worked out a complex development program for 2007-2013 named „Building and development of the technological and R&D component of PPPT for the over-regional innovative activity”. The program was developed in terms of investment projects prepared according to the standards set for investments possible for co-financing under the European Regional Development Fund.

On 5th December 2006 the Board of Mazowieckie Voivodeship put the company’s development program on the list of key investment projects for realization under the Regional Operational Program of Mazowieckie Voivodeship co-financed from European Regional Development Fund.

In June 2009 the project was divided into two separate investment areas:

1. PPPT Project I with estimated total cost of 198 860 000,00 PLN and EU financial support amounting to 65 200 000,00 PLN (40% of eligible costs). Project covers the following investment measures:

• Construction and equipping of the Corporate Services Center to develop the technological, science and research component of the PPPT in Płock,
• Construction of IT and logistic infrastructure to develop the technological, science and research component of the PPPT in Płock,
• Building technical and material infrastructure for the Płock Industrial and Technological Park within the technology component – zones 1 and 2 of PPPT.

2. PPPT Project II with estimated total cost of 91 500 000,00 PLN and EU financial support amounting to 30 000 000,00 PLN (40% of eligible costs). Project covers the following investment measures:

• First stage of construction of the laboratory infrastructure for Technology, Science and Research Park in Płock in co-operation with Warsaw University of Technology,
• Second stage of construction of the laboratory infrastructure for Technology, Science and Research Park in Płock in co-operation with the Research and Development Centre for Petroleum Industry.

The result of the realization of the whole undertaking will be the implementation of innovative organizational and technological solutions based on the organization within the PPPT a network of institutions providing full scale of products and services allowing via outsourcing processes to reduce costs of running business activity, especially in such peripheral areas for core activity like integrated book-keeping and accountancy services, integrated storage and archive services, integrated services of logistics and economical and technological assistance, as well as the start-up of the R&D background.

On 2 July 2009 the agreements were signed on two PPPT projects launching the preparatory stage of investment.

Development program of PPPT will be executed under the Priority I - Creating conditions for the development of innovative capacity and entrepreneurship in Mazovia within Activity 1.4. ”Strengthening the institutions of the business environment” (PPPT Project I) and Activity 1.1. ”Strengthen the research and development” (PPPT Project II).
