During the Cluster Collaboration Day on Friday, February 22, 2019, in the Industry Development Agency headquarters in Warsaw was signed an agreement between the representants of Mazovian Chemical Cluster and Industrial Development Agency. The cluster is coordinated by the Płock Industrial and Technological Park SA, which strives to support the operations and development of enterprises that are members of the Cluster and support all initiatives supporting the implementation of national and international projects.

The Industrial Development Agency supports enterprises in running and developing operations, and also plays an important role in increasing the competitiveness of the Polish industry by offering a range of support instruments, including the Special Economic Zones EURO-PARK WISŁOSAN, EURO-PARK MIELEC, financial instruments. The agreement became a good stress of day of the Cluster Collaboration Day taking place. During that event, experts in international EU programs were available to participants. Ms. Anna Sobczak, Policy Officer for clusters and emerging industries in the context of smart specialization in industrial modernization from the European Commission presented the Cluster Policy in the EU. Also presented was the Success story in the COSME DG Cluster program presented by Mrs. Katarzyna Kowalska, the President of AgroBioCluster and the UNIMOS foundation. Participants could get a closer look at the C-Vocher - Success story project in the H2020 program. Component of Regional Clusters as presented by Dr Sławomir Pyciński.

The Mazowiecki Cluster of Innovative Photonics Technologies was presented as a success story by Mr. Adam Piotrowski, President of Vigo System.

PARP Expert Monika Łuczak pointed to Polish clusters how to effectively compete for funding from Horizon 2020, COSME, POIR. Ms Marta Krutel from the National Contact Point completed the information about the INNOSUP-01-2018-2020 program. Cluster facilitated projects for new industrial value chains.

The needs and capabilities of Polish clusters were presented by Mr. Zbigniew Bednarski, President of the Mazovian Chemical Cluster and the Płock Industrial and Technological Park S.A. Competition criteria and the status of National Key Clusters were also discussed.

The meeting brought closer the dimension and scope of the programs, and the experts shared with the participants extremely practical tips and indicated great opportunities for the participation of Polish entrepreneurs in cooperative programs. Representatives of clusters took the opportunity of cooperation, synergy and joint participation in projects.
